Download Speed... WOW!

Because of the 800 mb download limit of globe tattoo, I decided to buy a smart bro. I think I did not make the wrong move for I was satisfied with the download and upload speed and the unlimited promos are really UNLIMITED. I can now download the world. :))

Look at the speed, my goodness! Hahaha

Dance Remix

Finally, I was able to upload on YouTube the video I took during our celebration of Buwan ng Wika one month after the celebration.

YES-O Bulletin

It's my first year in DepEd. I am the YES-O Coordinator. We want to have a place where information about environment will be posted for the students to be informed but there's no bulletin board available for us so I decided to make one. It's September now, 2013 is fast approaching. I know it will be used for the coming years.

Classroom Restructuring

Students will not only learn listening to their teachers, environment is also much required to be conducive to learning. That's why I'm doing my best to set the mood of my classroom to the best that I can, wherein students will learn and will want more knowledge of what they know.

I was not alone in that idea, Sir Nilo was also in the school although there are no classes.

ANYWAY, photos below were taken not during the decoration of our classroom but when we were eating our lunch. Haha

YES-O Clean Up Drive

One day I asked the officers and members of the YES-O to come to school, no classes, for we will clean the space at the back of the third year room that was closed to the students. It was closed for it became very polluted with plastic and other waste.

But since it's rainy season, we were joking that there's a swimming pool inside the school. Our goal is to remove all the non-biodegradable wastes and make a hole in the ground where all the biodegradable wastes will be thrown. All of the soil removed will be used to elevate the low lands where the "swimming pool" is located. We are afraid that mosquitoes might lay its eggs in there.

We Love Eating

There's no way we would let a day pass without EATING. We all love it. We need foods to continue living. Anyhow, last Wednesday we were in a restaurant (I forgot the business name). Here are some of the photos we took.

Rainy Afternoon Pictorial

Yesterday, September 12, 2012 at around 4:00 PM while waiting for the train to pass the uninvited rain pours. I was with my two co-teachers at Malansad Nuevo and each of us has umbrella.

We asked one student to take photos of us. Here are the results, though some were taken blurred.

Best Posts

I just love to post these here in my personal channel. I'm in love with these words the first time I read them. I hope these quotes will inspire whoever will be able to read this post.

PhotoScape

PhotoScape was introduced to me by a friend, it was 2010 if I am not mistaken. It has been installed in my laptop since then but I was not really into editing photos. I post pictures in my Facebook account, all are not edited.

But just recently, I am subscribed to the status of a particular person and I am so hooked with the photos this particular person is posting. There are designs but the photos still look original. That's why I decided to study and tried my best to learn the basics of this software called PhotoScape.

After several tries, here are two of my output. Haha
These still need improvement, I am not yet a pro. :)

YES-O Camp

Handa Ka Na Ba? Climate Change Adaptation: The Next Level

That was the theme of our Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Camp held last September 6, 2012 at Pamplona High School, Camarines Sur. It was a day full of learning not only for the students but also for the teachers. I personally was amazed of the talents each contestant allowed us to be witnessed.

My school, Malansad Nuevo High School, sent three participants to compete in Essay Writing, Poster Making, and Environmental Quiz. I am so proud of these students for they exerted all their best.
  1. Lizza Albuero, 2nd place, Essay Writing
  2. Mary Ann Callos, 7th place, Poster Making
  3. Elsever Aguenza, 11th place, Environmental Quiz
Other events competed by other school representatives are the following:
  • Sayawit
  • Sabayang Pagbigkas
  • On-the-Spot Photo Exhibit
  • Debate
  • Search for Lakan at Lakambini ng Kalikasan (highlight event)
It was a success. Congratulations to the winners. Below are some of the photos taken during the one-day activity.

This is the poster made by Mary Ann Callos.

Friends

I was very disappointed when I wasn't able to attend the APMI's celebration of Buwan ng Wika. It was the only day I can see my friends, they are my co-teachers whom I can share my craziness and sometimes, stupidity.

From left to right: Anne Patrick, Emz, Diane, Carez, & that's me.
Well, last September 7, 2012, YES-O Camp District Level was conducted at Pamplona National High School. I was assigned to look for an emcee, I invited Ma'am Pat and fortunately she has her thumb up to me.

I was very glad to see these people. It has been 4 month since I last had a fun time with them. Even in simple story sharing, we are filling the gap of not being together.

Here are some of the other photos. Enjoy viewing.

I miss them already. ^____^
